Make calls
Making calls with a Compass phone card is an easy 3-step process.
Calling from a landline
- Dial the local access number for your area and select a language
- Enter your PIN number (under the scratch panel on the back of your card)
- Enter the number you wish to call
Within NZ: Area Code + Telephone number (eg. 09 123 4567)
International: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)
Calling from a mobile phone or payphone
- Dial 014 123 (this call won't be charged to your mobile or the payphone, but surcharges apply to your phone card call) and select a language
- Enter your PIN number (under the scratch panel on the back of your card)
- Enter the number you wish to call
Within NZ: Area Code + Telephone number (eg. 09 123 4567)
International: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)
Calling from a Vodafone mobile using V8 or V8 Asia phone cards
- Dial the 3 digit shortcode listed on the reverse of your card (this will not be charged to your Vodafone mobile, and there's no surcharge to your phone card call)
- Enter your PIN number (under the scratch panel on the back of your card)
- Enter the number you wish to call
International: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567)
